European Ryder Cup heroes Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry and Ludvig Åberg are among the latest stars confirmed for the DP World Tour Championship, taking place from November 13-16 at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
The trio will be joined by Dubai residents Laurie Canter and Richard Mansell at the event, alongside the already announced reigning Masters Champion and career grand slam winner Rory McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton, Matt Fitzpatrick, Rasmus Højgaard, Robert MacIntyre and Justin Rose – all part of Europe’s triumphant 2025 Ryder Cup team that claimed a first away victory since 2012 – along with 2023 champion Nicolai Højgaard.
Dubai-based Fleetwood has enjoyed a superb 2025 campaign, capturing both his maiden PGA TOUR title and the FedExCup at the TOUR Championship before starring for Europe at Bethpage Black with four match wins, to help Europe become the first away team to win a Ryder Cup since 2013.
Just weeks after his heroics in New York, the World Number Five captured an eighth DP World Tour victory with victory at the DP World India Championship, beating Keita Nakajima by two strokes at Delhi Golf Club.
“The Earth Course has been my home course for the last three years, so it’s always special to play the DP World Tour Championship somewhere that feels so familiar,” said Fleetwood, who has lived in Dubai since 2022.
“It’s a great test of golf, and the atmosphere is always incredible. I’ve had some fantastic memories in Dubai over the years, and finishing the season in front of family and friends gives me that extra bit of motivation to finish strong.”
Lowry sparked emotional scenes at Bethpage Black as the Irishman secured the vital half-point to retain the Ryder Cup for Europe on a tense Sunday singles session.
After finishing third at last year’s DP World Tour Championship, the 38-year-old returns seeking his seventh DP World Tour title and a second UAE victory following his 2019 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship triumph, months before he won the Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
Swedish sensation Åberg, who finished seventh at The Masters Tournament earlier this year following his runner-up finish on debut last year, was another key member of Luke Donald’s winning European Ryder Cup teams in both 2023 and 2025.
The 25-year-old will make his DP World Tour Championship debut next month, having firmly established himself as one of the game’s brightest young stars after turning professional in 2023.
Lowry and Åberg’s inclusion on Donald’s historic European Ryder Cup team has secured their spot in the season finale, with 2025 Ryder Cup players exempt and included in the field in addition to the leading 50 players on the Race to Dubai Rankings.
“Dubai has always been a great place to play golf and I’m really looking forward to being back at Jumeirah Golf Estates,” said Lowry.
“The DP World Tour Championship is the perfect way to finish our season, and I’ll be giving it everything to finish the year on a high.”
Åberg added: “I’m really looking forward to making my DP World Tour Championship debut. I’ve heard great things about the Earth course from the other guys, so I’m excited about ending the season in Dubai.”
Joining them will be Dubai-based stars Laurie Canter and Richard Mansell, who have both enjoyed victories on the Race to Dubai this season.
Canter secured his second DP World Tour title earlier in the year with a win at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship and arrives in fine form following a tied-second finish at the Genesis Championship – where he eagled the final hole with a remarkable 100-foot putt to finish at eight under alongside Nacho Elvira. Mansell, meanwhile, captured his maiden DP World Tour title at the Porsche Singapore Classic in March.
“Having won in Bahrain earlier this year and now calling Dubai home, I feel in a great place and like things have really come together nicely,” said Canter.
Mansell added: “I always enjoy playing here in Dubai – it really feels like a home event for me. Jumeirah Golf Estates is always a fantastic venue, and I’m excited to finish my 2025 season here and carry that momentum into next year.”
Hoping to also play on ‘home’ soil are fellow Dubai residents Johannes Veerman, Ewen Ferguson and Tom McKibbin – ranked 42nd, 43rd and 41st respectively in the Race to Dubai Rankings – who will be looking to impress at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the first DP World Tour Play-Offs event, to secure their spot at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
After attracting record weekend crowds last year – and with demand for tickets high once again – fans are encouraged to secure their General Admission tickets early, before prices increase on October 30. Weekend tickets currently start from AED 160, while entry on Thursday and Friday is free of charge.
Fans looking for an elevated experience can choose from a variety of premium hospitality options, but should act quickly, as Ticket+ availability is limited for Friday and Sunday, and Earth Lounge and Championship Chalet tickets for Sunday are already sold out.
Ticket+ includes guaranteed access to the shaded viewing platform overlooking the 17th green and 18th fairway, priority access to food & beverage counters and live music after play on Friday and Saturday, the perfect ambiance to take in the action up close.
The Earth Lounge, overlooking the 16th green, provides a chic and comfortable setting to relax and enjoy the action. The Championship Chalet, situated on the 18th green, offers an exclusive vantage point to observe the thrilling conclusion of each round.
Fans are also advised that due to an ongoing development within the Jumeirah Golf Estates community, there will be limited public parking available for this year’s DP World Tour Championship.
To help manage access and maintain a smooth arrival experience for all spectators, a nominal parking fee will apply for from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 November, priced at AED 50 per car, when purchased in advance via dpwtc.com, and AED 80 per car when purchased upon arrival to the DP World Tour Championship. Complimentary parking will be available for ticketholders attending on 10-11 November.
