A championship links on the North Sea coast with holes designed by both Dr. Alister MacKenzie and Frank Pennink. Dating from 1874 it's the 10th oldest club in England and is currently rated 46th in England.
Seaton Carew Golf Club was founded in 1874 and celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2024 when it will be hosting the prestigious English Amateur Championships. Built on well-draining sandy soil, this easy-walking course is a true test of links golf with its challenging 17th hole, aptly named Snag, providing a real sting in the tail. The club has played host to numerous championship events over the years including the Brabazon Trophy in 1985 & 2014 and the Carris Trophy in 1996. Whilst the weather and course might provide a severe test of your golfing prowess you can be sure of a warm welcome in the traditional clubhouse.
