Trackman, the world’s leading developer of radar tracking technology for use in golf performance analysis, has signed a new three-year agreement to become the Official Launch Monitor and Official Ball Tracing Technology of the DP World Tour.

A key component of the partnership will be Trackman providing broadcast services to the DP World Tour, with its ball tracing technology giving fans rich data and insights. The Tour’s award-winning social media team will also be utilising Trackman’s ball tracing technology and shot data to create new content strands and challenges for fans to enjoy. Spectators will also be able to test their skills through Trackman simulator experiences at select DP World Tour events each season.

The DP World Tour will also support Trackman’s continued growth through a range of business support services. This includes continued collaboration on the NEXT Golf Tour Powered by Trackman — an innovative simulator-based golf tour that launched in 2023. The winner of the NEXT Order of Merit currently receives invites to compete in three HotelPlanner Tour events and one DP World Tour event, and the runner-up receives invites to three HotelPlanner Tour events. In addition, the DP World Tour helps to promote NEXT with dedicated features on the Tour’s digital channels and broadcast feed.

Trackman’s “little orange box” is a familiar sight on driving ranges at professional golf tournaments around the world and is trusted by elite players, coaches, equipment manufacturers and club fitters to provide ultra-precise data on virtually every aspect of club motion and ball flight. The company also provides simulator hardware and software for golfers of all levels. Trackman has also expanded beyond golf, providing ball tracking and other data services to athletes in football, baseball and American football. Going forwards, the DP World Tour will become a high-profile incubator for Trackman’s latest technological innovations.

Trackman is proudly based in Hørsholm, Denmark, and this partnership further strengthens the DP World Tour’s close ties with the country. Denmark has long punched above its weight on the global golf scene with a total of 18 Danish players on the DP World Tour in 2025 and Danish players picking up three wins on the DP World Tour in 2024.

Speaking about the new partnership, Klaus Eldrup-Jørgensen, Co-Founder and CEO of Trackman, said: “Working more closely with the DP World Tour is a natural next step for us. Their global reach and forward-thinking approach make them an ideal partner to showcase what Trackman technology can do — not just for the players, but for the fans watching at home and engaging online. Together, we’re setting a new standard for how golf is played, seen, and experienced.”

Guy Kinnings, Chief Executive Officer of the DP World Tour, added: “Trackman have been the sector leader in radar tracking technology for more than two decades. This technology has had a transformative impact on how professionals practice and how amateurs enjoy the game, with ball tracing graphics on TV and simulator-based experiences now core to golf’s entertainment.

“We already have a strong relationship with Klaus and his team through the NEXT Golf Tour collaboration and this agreement strengthens this into new areas. Technological innovation is a strength of the DP World Tour and with Trackman as a Partner, we can find new ways of integrating their technologies into our global product to further enhance the fan experience.”
