British band Razorlight will rock the Showstage at the BMW PGA Championship when the Festival of Golf returns to the iconic Wentworth Club from September 9-14.

The quartet, fronted by Johnny Borrell, will be the headline act on Saturday September 13, taking to the stage after the final putt drops after the third round on the West Course.

Razorlight reformed in 2020 after a ten-year hiatus after rising to fame with hits such as ‘Golden Touch’ and ‘America’ and they released their fifth album, Planet Nowhere in October 2024. Razorlight are the first act confirmed for this year’s BMW PGA Championship, with Sunday’s headliner to be announced in the coming weeks.

Live music has been a feature at the BMW PGA Championship since 2016, with other headline acts taking to the Showstage including the Kaiser Chiefs, Feeder, Mike + The Mechanics, Simple Minds, and Rudimental. Groove Armada and Sigala were last year’s headline artists.

Tickets for the BMW PGA Championship are available here and fans are urged to buy now to avoid disappointment, following unprecedented demand for this year’s event.

“The Showstage at the BMW PGA Championship is always a highlight of the week and we are very excited to announce Razorlight as our headline act for the Saturday night,” said Darrell O’Hora, Championship Director of the DP World Tour’s historic event.

“For nearly a decade, the BMW PGA Championship has been a true Festival of Golf, with a number of fantastic acts playing the stage over the years and we are very much looking forward to seeing what this year’s Championship has in store. With world-class golf, music and entertainment, it really is an event for the whole family.”

The action begins with Tuesday’s Practice Day on September 9, before a host of celebrities from the worlds of sport, music and entertainment will tee it up in the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday September 10, with participants also to be confirmed shortly. The Celebrity Pro-Am acts as a fun-filled curtain raiser to the main event, the BMW PGA Championship, which tees off on Thursday September 11 and runs through to Sunday September 14.

The Championship takes place less than an hour from central London, with a range of transport options available for spectators.

As per previous years, BMW Group owners will receive preferred on-site parking benefits. A free shuttle service will be available to all spectators from Virginia Water railway station.

Park & Ride services will be operating for all spectators from Broomhall Farm in Sunningdale and Royal Ascot Racecourse, Ascot. A parking fee of £10 will be charged. Season Ticket holders can buy a season car parking pass for £30 and payment in advance is encouraged as on the day prices will increase to £15 per vehicle.

General Admission tickets are selling fast across the whole week, with Ticket+ and Grandstand passes sold out from Friday to Sunday. Limited Premium Experience options as still available. Click here to view ticket options.
