A major investment has modernised the course, creating a US parkland style set up. Described as a picturesque course, it presents a challenge with risk & reward throughout the round.
Alongside the Murrayshall Course, the Lynedoch Course is a beautiful 10-hole layout with commanding views of Perthshire, that is ideal for a quick game of golf or for juniors. You’ll never be short of options at Murrayshall, as there’s also an expansive driving range and access to a Pro Shop. No matter the season or the weather; you can play golf at Murrayshall.
For a weekend trip or a 7-day stay, Murrayshall Country Estate offers accommodation with 40 bedrooms at their Luxury Boutique Hotel, with fine dining experience in their two AA Red Rosette Eolas restaurant also available.
Murrayshall now offers guests a selection of spa treatments inside their newly refurbished gate house located at the beginning of the drive. Treatments will include facials and massage using luxury Scottish organic seaweed products from Ishga. Something new for the estate is the availability of bike hire, to head off around the estate. There are planned routes that can be explored. Whether its an electric bike, or just pedalling yourself on a Mountain bike, just ask the team on Reception and head off in the knowledge that you’re going to discover more about Murrayshall estate and the surrounding beauty of Scone and Perthshire. Booking is advisable in advance. Prices start from £7.50/hour for a Mountain bike and £10/hour for an e-bike. They can also be hired for half a day and a full day. T&Cs apply. Murrayshall doesn’t require a handicap certificate for you to play, so the courses are open to all levels.
New for 2024 will be a brand new state of the art Golf Driving Range, with 17 bays, two Teaching Academy Bays and a new Pro Shop, doubling the size of the current one.
